In honor of Veterans Day today, and in appreciation for all the military heroes that have served and sacrificed for our freedom and country — here’s is a list of highlights for today, Veterans Day, November 11, 2016 of freebies and deals that show a token of appreciation and say “thank you” to veterans and active military members.

Olive Garden thanks you with a free entrée– veterans and active duty service members get a free entrée from a special menu which features six of Olive Garden’s most popular items. Entrées are served with unlimited homemade soup or house salad and garlic bread sticks.
Knott’s Berry Farm treats you to fun at the park– active, retired and veteran U.S. Military personnel receive free admission for themselves and 1 guest (maximum of 2 complimentary admissions will be issued per day) during Military Tribute Days, now through November 18 and November 28 – December 16. Military ID or DD 214 required at main gate to redeem offer. Plus, up to 6 the military ID holder can purchase additional admission tickets at a discounted rate- $27 when visiting from November 1 – 18, or for $32 each when visiting from November 28 – December 16.
Black Angus Steakhouse salutes you with a steak dinner– veterans and active duty personnel receive a free Top Sirloin Steak Dinner today, November 11th, 2016, the dinner comes complete with home-style mashed potatoes, fresh broccoli with garlic butter and sweet molasses bread.
SeaWorld San Diego honors you with an ocean of entertainment- SeaWorld® San Diego salutes you with complimentary admission for military veterans and up to three additional guests, now through December 31st. The Waves of Honor ticket offer is one way that SeaWorld can honor the men and women who have previously served as members of the U.S. armed services. Veterans must register online at WavesofHonor.com in advance, and verify their proof of service through the ID.me qualification process. Tickets must be obtained and redeemed for park admission by Dec. 31, 2016. This offer is available online only.
California Pizza Kitchen thanks you with a free entrée- veterans and active duty military personnel will be able to select a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu including pizza, salads and pasta. Please bring proof of service, military ID or come in uniform.
Chili’s treats you with a free meal– veterans and active-duty military get a free meal today, November 11th, 2016 from a special Veterans Day menu. Proof of military service required.
Red Robin Gourmet honors you with burgers- veterans and active duty military receive a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries at participating restaurants nationwide. Red Robin is also donating $10,000 to United Service Organizations.
IHOP thanks you with free pancakes- participating IHOP restaurants are offering free Red, White and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m for retired and active duty military. Plus, select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links along with the patriotic pancakes!
Red Lobster salutes you to an app or dessert- veterans, active military and reservists receive a free appetizer or dessert with a valid military ID.
Applebee’s gives you a free meal– veterans and Active Duty Military can select a free meal from a special Veteran’s Day menu. Proof of service required. All current and former military personnel will also receive a $5 coupon which can be redeemed between November 12 and November 27, 2016.
