Spend the spooky season at Legg Lake, where a special drive-thru event serves up food and frightful-fun at THE BITE LA—a Halloween Food Crawl and Creature Safari. THE BITE LA serves up tricks and treats to please your palate and satisfy your need for Halloween scares this season with a unique experience.
THE BITE LA is a unique twist on the drive-thru/drive-into haunted attraction offering a delectable Halloween food crawl that snakes its way around eerie Legg Lake, and includes 8 Bites, campfire dessert, fall-favorite warm beverage and immersive entertainment that guests can enjoy from the safety of their own vehicle.

What’s good Gab, was invited to “drive and dine” with the spirits at THE BITE LA where we were served eerily-delicious eats and devilishly-tasty drinks as creepy creatures emerged from the lake at night. Here are our haunted highlights:
Ghoulishly-good food

As we drove our way through the food crawl which snaked around eerie Legg Lake, we were summoned by sinister specters that came out of their lairs. At each immersive environment, we received a tasty bite to enjoy along our ominous adventure.
The BITE LA served seasonal bites with Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options for all to enjoy. The scrumptious bites ranged from tasty tater tots, yummy Jack O’ Sliders, and delicious Thanksgiving Meatballs to name a few of our faves. Once we “survived” the scares, we were then treated to either a super-tasty Churro Donut or Churro Cupcake and choice of Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider.
Creature Safari

We had fun driving along the dark in the safety of our car as we aimed our flashlights in search of the shadowy and monstrous creatures that roamed the abyss. Legg Lake served as the perfect backdrop to this fun and frightful event—the areas were illuminated with Halloween lighting throughout, the lake itself gave off a scary and gloomy reflection, and there was even a narrow bridge that we drove over which added to the eerie excitement.

Virtual Campfire

We finished our evening by parking around a virtual campfire to hear scary ghost stories and finish enjoying the tasty bites we acquired along the way.
