What’s good gab had the chance to put the Nano 9’s to the test for a “his” and “her” review—and it quickly became a game-changer and our go-to shoe for everything from WoD’s to weight-lifting, sumo deadlifts to squats, strength-training to TRX, and every fitness feat in-between.
Here are the reasons why the Nano 9’s crush the competition:
Flexible yet durable Flexweave design
The Nano 9’s feature a lightweight Flexweave upper that’s crazy-comfortable out of the box and highly breathable for added ventilation, delivering an airy feel that keeps feet continuously cool and comfy. Plus, this feel-good Flexweave upper is also designed to be strong and supportive to take on the toughest workouts, offering both durability and flexibility that let us move powerfully in multi-directions. We could switch-it-up from sprinting to lunges and rope climbs all seamlessly without skipping a beat.
Cushioned midsole and decoupled outsole
The Nano 9’s have a decoupled outsole design featuring two outsole pieces for improved heel-to-toe movement, letting you move sure-footedly and dynamically. They’re also enhanced with an added midsole cushioning that cushions and absorbs impact which means that yes, you can go all out and do a short run between your training because these Nano 9’s can handle it all. We found that the decoupled outsole increased our underfoot flexibility letting our feet move freely while the added midsole cushioning enhanced shock absorption but was also a bit firmer. Plus, the sole offers stability and is skillfully tacky for the ultimate traction.
