The L.A. Zoo Lights is set aglow this season, and there’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than with some furry friends and bright, beautiful lights, all in the great outdoors!
I had the opportunity to visit the L.A. Zoo Lights, and was immediately immersed into the festive season and filled with joy and delight by the dazzling light displays and enchanted encounters that met me and guests at every corner.
Here are a few of my faves and some highlights:
You will be welcomed with a big and bright glowing Christmas tree that stands in full grandeur at the entrance. This is a great picture taking moment- so be sure to gather round and smile with glee at this stunning spot.
Look up at the night sky and see the stars—and swinging monkeys that are frolicking in the festive fun. This is truly a fun display that you will go bananas over because you will truly enjoy seeing these brightly-lit monkeys swinging across right under you!
As you walk through the L.A. Zoo Lights, you will be greeted by cute critters that will put a smile on your face. The Merry Meerkats statuettes will illuminate your path—and you will enjoy this group of gregarious animals that will light-up in different spots. You’ll see these adorable statues flashing and flickering, showing the meerkats standing, stooping, and even sleeping about.
Deck the Halls with Disco Balls
Rock to some festive and fave holiday beats at this site, where the trees glimmer with purple lights and shine with disco balls—and the music makes you want to dance and move!
Enter this picture-perfect passageway filled with twinkling, colorful lights throughout! The Twinkle Tunnel was an ah-mazing experience that filled me with glee—and guests of all ages will enjoy the bright display of lights and shimmering décor that cover the tunnel from top to bottom, and from wall to wall. Not only will this tunnel brighten your world but it’s THE perfect “selfie-spot” and memory-making moment with family and friends.
Feast your eyes on these amazing animal displays that are not only vivid and colorful but also larger-than-life and resembling stain-glass art. This is a great spot to take it all in and pose for a pic amongst the L.A. Zoo Lights backdrop.
