RECIPE
Pumpkin berry smoothie
Ingredients (serves 1):
1 cup Almond Milk
1 scoop of Garden of Life Protein & greens- Lightly Sweet flavor
1 teaspoon of Garden of Life Dr. Formulated Organic Prebiotic Fiber in Citrus
1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
1/4 cup of Almonds (you can also substitute for your favorite nuts like walnuts or pecans)
1 cup frozen mixed berries (I used a combination of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and cherries)
Directions:
Pour all ingredients into a blender in the order listed above (this way you make sure to create a creamy-thick shake). Mix together in blender, serve and enjoy!
You can also stick in the freezer for about 20 minutes to chill, for a creamy-cool shake!
*Note: Double up the ingredients to make 2 servings and share this hauntingly-delicious shake with your fave little or big monster 😉
Recipe
Tropical pumpkin protein pudding
Ingredients (Serves 1-2):
1 cup Almond milk
1 scoop of Garden of Life Protein & greens- Lightly Sweet flavor
½ cup Pumpkin Puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 teaspoon of maple syrup (you can add your favorite sweetener like honey or agave)
1/2 cup frozen organic mangos
1 cup frozen banana slices
10-12 individual lightly salted RAW pumpkin seeds (these will be used to garnish at the very end, and the lightly salted flavor will balance out your sweet pudding for a salty-but-savory treat)
Directions:
Pour all ingredients in exact order listed above, except for the lightly salted RAW pumpkin seeds. Blend these ingredients together.
Pour into a large bowl or separate into two small bowls to share and place in freezer for 20 minutes to serve deliciously chilled.
When ready to eat, top off your pudding by decorating it with the lightly salted RAW pumpkin seeds to make a smiley pumpkin face or any other Halloween-inspired design your heart desires and enjoy!
