Have a merry, holiday sea-son with an ocean of entertainment at the Aquarium Holidays celebration at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. The Aquarium of the Pacific has decked their halls with festive décor to create an undersea holiday adventure complete with Santa, snow, and sea life that’s sure to fill you and your family with glee!
The Aquarium Holiday festivities are going on now through December 23, 2016—and visitors can get close-up with Santa Diver who will appear daily underwater in the Honda Blue Cavern. Aquarium Holidays also features a daily Penguin Walk at 10:00 a.m., a display of gingerbread houses made by Aquarium staff members and one created by a professional bakery, and free daily showings of Sleigh Ride 4D.
The Aquarium of the Pacific will also delight visitors with snow fall in the Great Hall and the Aquarium’s costumed characters will appear in their holiday outfits daily. Visitors can also enjoy holiday music, shopping, and a special holiday menu offered daily in Café Scuba.
On Saturdays and Sundays through December 23 visitors can enjoy:
- The snow play area
- Children’s crafts
- Photo opportunities with Santa
- Hanukkah storytelling with opportunities to play dreidel
And be sure to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific this coming weekend to enjoy Breakfast with Santa, on December 17 and 18, 2016, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Families can attend Breakfast with Santa in the Aquarium’s Café Scuba. Enjoy a tasty selection of breakfast foods available for purchase and get your holiday card picture snapped with Santa and other aquarium mascots (No RSVP is necessary).
