Get your greens with this healthy fall smoothie

With fall officially here, it’s time to boost your health and amp your energy- and there’s no better way to get your greens than with a delicious and good-for-you smoothie that will help you refresh this season. Butternut Squash Protein Smoothie

 

 

INGREDIENTS (serves 1):

10 ounces of Almond Milk

1 scoop of Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein in Vanilla

1 tablespoon of Garden of Life Dr. Formulated Organic Prebiotic Fiber in Citrus

1 scoop Garden of Life Raw Organic Perfect Food Green Superfood Powder

1/2 cup of Organic Butternut Squash puree

1 whole banana (medium to large)

1 tsp real vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground nutmeg

4 ice cubes (optional, gives the smoothie a nice chilled and creamy consistency)

1 teaspoon of RAW unsalted pumpkin seeds (to use as topping)

 

DIRECTIONS:

Pour all ingredients into blender in the order listed above (except for the RAW unsalted pumpkin seeds) and blend.

Pour into a cup, then sprinkle 1 teaspoon of RAW unsalted pumpkin seeds to use as nutritional topping.
