Join in on the celebration and enjoy the Chinese Lion Dance which brings a medley of martial arts, acrobatic artistry, dance and music, all which are sure to captivate you!
MR. PING’S NOODLE SHOP
Chuckle and chow down on some good cultural fare at Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop where you’ll get to interact with Mr. Ping himself and enjoy his Secret Ingredient Noodle Soup which is said to bring you a long life. Just step right up to Mr. Ping who will win your heart over with his wit and wisdom—and don’t forget to say “NOODLES” and smile for that insta-perfect pic! Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop has a variety of delicious dishes from Beef Pho, Pork Ramen, Glass Noodle Salad to appetizers like Po’s Dumplings.

The Universal Plaza is adorned with Plum Blossom Wishing Trees that deliver both a whimsical and traditional touch. So head on over to one of the tables throughout the plaza and write down your wish on one of the red cards and hang it on a tree to make your dreams come true!
The Universal Plaza is circled by the 12 zodiac animal signs accompanied by their symbolic attributes, so you can walk around and enjoy searching for your year and animal sign. You’ll have fun reading about your sign’s special symbolic attributes which will inspire you!

Smile big and stand side-by-side your fave characters dressed in specially designed Lunar New Year attire. Giggle with glee alongside llumination Entertainment’s Minions from the theme park’s popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride. And say hello to the most fashionable feline, Hello Kitty who’s wearing her signature red bow along with her Lunar New Year’s best dress. Hello Kitty will be available to meet guests at the Hello Kitty Shop located within the Animation Studio Store.
